Restoration of Australia's great horned turtle, Meieolania. With a size range somewhere between a bathtub and a small car, this diverse group can be found from the northern reaches of Queensland to Australian's south tropical island of Lord Howe. The illustration was created for the research website of Dr. Eugene S. Gaffney at The American Museum of Natural History.
